The “Pagoda” SL-Class as everyone has come to call it is celebrating its 50 year anniversary. The nickname comes from the slightly concave hardtop designed by Paul Bracq. This one we have pictures of has been completely restored by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in Irvine California. It is a 1969 280 SL finished with a dark olive pain and light ivory, with an ivory interior. What a spectacular and meticulous restoration!
