Sprinter Sales Increase in Half of 2011
An article from Wards Auto reported a double in sales figure of Mercedes-Benz' Sprinter van. The Silver Arrow delivered a total of 5,185 units, a 102.1% increase compared to the numbers posted in the same time last year.
The vans were sold before as Dodge by Chrysler. Right now, out of the 353 Mercedes-Benz dealerships, 108 of them is currently selling the Sprinter as well as some Freightliner dealers and the number is also increasing.
Price of the passenger van costs $39,000 and has 200 stand-alone options and 24 packages that are optional. With these prices and choices, the van is beginning to be the pick for those offering chauffeur services and big families.
