Mercedes-Benz Reported to Build a New Roadster to Follow the B-Class

According to an article by 4WheelsNews.com, Mercedes- Benz is getting ready to produce a new roadster in line with the Mercedes SLK, or SLA designation. This is under the concept car presented in 2000.

It said that it will be created using the MFA platform or front-wheel drive, with a 1.6L petrol engine of 1.8L diesel. It is also anticipated to have a six-speed or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. We can also expect it to be the pattern of the future A-Class and B-Class, which means we may see more of its characteristics in more Mercedes-Benz vehicles moving forward.

The roadster is expected to be available in the market by 2013.
